Supah Bucks, as usual had a crowd, mostly the younger variety. Nate, the meta who owned the place, was sitting in the back corner. It was his usual haunt, where he could spy the customers that came in...and when the occasional fracas started up, he could hit them easily with a targeted sapping field. Obviously this didn't happen very often. Most people seemed content just to get their coffee, cappucino, latte and what have you and just linger.

Cadence sipped at her venti white mocha as she waited for laptop to boot up. Supah Bucks had great WiFi connection. She planned to enjoy her drink and spend some of her allowance on digital comics this afternoon.

Only in Paragon.Taylor thought as she stood in line waiting for her macchiato, mask and cape still in place. Only in Paragon could she stand in line for over-priced coffee wearing a black, orange and red spandex suit, mask and cape still in place and blend right in. There's no way that would fly back in Wyoming. She smiled over at Cady, one of the classmates she recognized, before tugging her cape to make sure it was in place. It was perfect patrol weather. If Cadence wasn't busy, she'd have liked to ask her to patrol some, maybe pick up some firebug tips from her fellow fire-starter, but for now, the espresso jolt from the drink would suffice.
