I can't tell you exactly how I got this information, but here goes:
It was definitely Cork's mediport badge that Lauren saw tossed into the grave.
Sunny is definitely Sonia. Sonia and Cork were close, friends at least, but I can't say for sure if they were more than that. She was with him just before he died. She was helping him set up his glider. She seemed to be upset.
Derrick Cork definitely died during an initiation. He was trying to impress someone called "Heraclea" which it seems to me would be a feminine version of Heracles, aka Hercules.
Heraclea is the one who hired the Skulls. Apparently there's a broker for jobs like that and his name is Mr. Bones.
All of the above I know to be fact.
I think Troy is definitely in on it. Every thing I've done, I've done on my own. I haven't even talked about it. The only thing that would tie me to you guys was the museum trip. I saw him at the museum that day. I got a note on my bunk after the fire like the rest of you.

According to a reliable source, Abramsen reopened the investigation and went into a meeting with some of the brass this afternoon.

I have some info. I think it's good. I know who bought Derrick's stuff and where it might be. He's called Mr. Bones and he runs a floating market for stolen goods. I have Derrick's school ring, so I think this info is good. Here's where my source says we can find this guy:
((Screen capture from Google maps along with the address.))
I know this might sound hypocritical, but I don't want anyone going off alone to check this out. Get organized. I'm not sure what we might be walking into.

Remember, don't let anyone know where you're going before you leave campus. Bring along anyone you trust, and meet up at the train station in King's Row.

Re: A Dirge for Derrick Cork: Clues
I found this obituary:
Richard H. Manson, age 77, of Atlas Park passed away on March 20, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Jennifer (Kippen) Manson, last November. He is survived by his son, Jonathan Manson, and his granddaughter, Jennifer Manson. Manson was a noted Paragon City philanthropist, active for decades in many charitable and social organizations, including Kiwanis International, the Heracles Adventurers Club, and Lions Clubs International. A private memorial will be held. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charitable organization in his memory, recognizing his lifetime of self-less giving back to his community.
Jenna's parents? Jonathan and Renee Manson. They're stock brokers with no record of metahuman ability that I found.

Check this out, but gird yourself. Remember, Derrick wasn't always a nice guy.

Re: A Dirge for Derrick Cork: Clues
I found Jenna. She wasn't the talkative sort. I overheard a phone call from her, though. Apparently she lost something in The Fuse or the Powderkeg three weeks ago. If I'm not mistaken, those are nicknames for areas in Boomtown. From what I overheard her friend has combed The Fuse already.
She also mentioned some initials. AB. Apparently, Jenna doesn't want AB to know she lost whatever it is that she lost.

I managed to ask around a bit. The word is, they're looking for a lost camcorder. They're paying good money for its retrieval, too.

Re: A Dirge for Derrick Cork: Clues
Makes sense, there is mention of one of the crew filming Cork while he does the trials.
Sounds like she lost the camera. It might have a lot of evidence on it. Might this be what the cops found and are used to grab Roach?
We should at least head out and look for the thing.

More likely it's proof they'd hide to cover for the club. Abramsen already proved that she'll alter evidence. Don't assume they're following procedure.
Also, hi.
