Lords of Evercraft

Lords of Evercraft is a virtual reality MMO designed by a fellow student named Milton Howard. Lords of Evercraft is a generic fantasy MMORPG played with a VR headset and gloves. Once the player logs in they are fully immersed in the fantasy world around them.

IC'ly Milton takes the game very seriously but it is still in alpha/beta testing and is buggy as all get out. The game is set in a generic fantasy world with heroes, swords, sorcery, monsters and lots of treasure. It pulls influences from various sources some more nerdy and obscure than others.

OOC'ly it is a bit of meta gamey fun that we have every once in a while where our characters play an MMO together. The game is obviously parody as even the title comes from Lord of the Rings, Everquest 2, and World of Warcraft. It's played via AE missions. Anyone is welcome to design a mission for the game.

We have an SG that we are coalitioned with called Lords of Evercraft. Lords of Evercraft is an SG for housing alts that are made to be our character's characters in the game. You are not required to create an alt to play in the arcs, but are required to come up with a suitably fantasy costume for those events.

Character's can be anything as long as it's more or less generic fantasy. It could range from Elf to Angel, or Dwarf to Dryad. If you are going the route of an alternate costume rather than alternate character you should choose a class role that melds with your character. A dual pistols blaster becomes a dualist. A claws stalker becomes an Assassin. A martial arts scrapper becomes a monk. Etc. etc. If you're going the route of an alternate character you should try to pick power sets that fit the setting. A robots mastermind doesn't really work out so well.

Above all else this is meant to be a bit of fun and a crazy amount of metaness. What do I mean by crazy amount of metaness?

We could be sitting at our computers, role playing teenagers in a super hero MMO, who are logged in too fantasy MMO sitting around a tavern role playing their fantasy heroes as they discuss their latest adventures and sending each other IC/OOC messages explaining what they did in 3rd period. The meta is strong here.

The following AE arc is available for lower-level characters:

Lords of Evercraft: Noob Adventures
by @Iniscara
Arc ID: #480414
Begin your epic journey by performing heroic deeds for the citizens of Brookborough.

The arc is three missions long, all set to run at lvl 13 (i.e. your character will be SKd up to or exemped down to lvl 13). It may be a little tough for characters below level 10 but should still be doable solo. Teams should have little trouble. Characters above lvl 18 or so will probably find it very easy.
