Trying a test run

Post by Alpaith » Tue Nov 08, 2011 6:04 pm

A couple of months ago I contacted someone about a question I had about enrollment. That person, after answering my question, suggested that I contact the SG about possible before enrollment rp opportunities. It seemed like it was suggested as a test to see if I would like the group before I enrolled because of the amount of time between then and now. I thought that a couple of months was a little too long to test run something when enrollment wasn't starting until December. Now that is is closer to December I thought I would give it a try, but I ran into a problem. I don't know how to go about it. So I thought I would ask, if I am trying to see if I want to go through with enrollment, should I try this out as a potential character for the SG or as someone else? I don't know what would be appropriate in this kind of situation, but I do think I would like to try it out, if possible.

A test run could be anything that you're comfortable with. Maybe it's just sitting back and watching us RP. Maybe it's getting involved with a different character. Maybe you have an idea for a character and want to try it out in an RP setting. Any of those is fine. Let me know what time works for you and we can get together and set up a scenario. Maybe you run in to some students at Overbrook, or possibly we meet up while patrolling. It could be any number of things, really.

I'm free any night after 9:00 PM EST this week. Let me know what works best for you and we'll set something up.

Since this would be a good time to find holes and faults in my concept, I think it w.ould be best if I used my potental character for this. Because of that is it less likely that it would be on patrol. While not entirely impossible, it is just unlikely. I am free anytime after 7 eastern as long as I know about it, because of some issues with the game I am not always on when I am available. This covers all weekdays, I'm free most weekends.

Right, forgot to mention the issues were technical, not with the game itself..

Sorry to take so long to get back to you. We've got some people excited about meeting you. Friday night, Saturday night or Monday night will most likely be our best options.

Let's go with Saturday night. I'll be around, so you can set something up with me at @Songdrop. Or I'll set something up with Faige. Setting up a time works too. Looks like I'm good with anything. Let me know if you want to set something up Saturday night, if not I'll just look for Faige and see if you guys are free sometime.

Thanks for joining us on Saturday night. We had a blast. We look forward to seeing your application on the boards soon! Just a reminder we'll be opening enrollment up on November 28th and closing it on December 9th.
