(OOC Note - Sadly, my mic broke as I went to pick it up. Funny how it always waits for the worst time. The only thing that I couldn't change in this is the date. While it says 'September 6th, 2011', just ignore that. It gives the right date. I will fix this (maybe) at a later date)

The school is a buzz with energy, fear, and of course... thoughts. After hours of trying to figure out what is going on, the school has finally found some semblance of peace (for the time being). With the promise of answers, students finally move their frustrations to the back of their minds as the News begins releasing bits of information.

Note: While the broadcast does say 'Steel Canyon and surrounded areas', this isn't exactly accurate. It's a result of people demanding answers and the news having to provide what they can with little fact checking. As the morning begins, various other news agencies will reveal what zones are affected by the psionic effects.

This, of course, might cause a number of things.

Some people will be vacating their homes in order to stay in an unaffected neighborhood. Hotel rooms might suddenly become harder to book. Maybe some make-shift camps sanctioned by the city might pop up. The one thing the city is not suggesting is evacuation of the zones. They saw what element moves into evacuated zones during the Rikti War and the trouble it is to get them out of it later on.

While most heavy rioting has stopped during the night, pockets of it still remain in poorer parts of the city. A lot more street brawls are taking place due to misunderstood thoughts or expose secrets. Not only that, though, people are looking for others to blame. Some violence against psionics has occurred.

Westbrook administration, while advising its students to exercise extreme caution, lifted the campus lockdown after Tuesday when it was clear that the worst of the reactions (and alien invasions) were contained if not resolved. Classes continue as scheduled.
