Roach had spent most of the time as the people filled into the theater just chatting it up with Alice. Every time she'd make it through one piece of sour candy, he was already offering her another- A different flavor to wet her palette. So, four sour-suckers later and a much puckered Alice (most likely), Roach realized that more had actually showed up.

He tossed a glance towards Eli and Jessie, offering them a delayed wave. "Ah- Didn't notice you guys made it. Figured you were goin' to ditch us for that French movie playin' down the hall or somethin'". He snorted at the thought- Who'd choose a movie with subtitles over this blood-fest?

He shook his head, turning towards Milo to offer him the tub of popcorn. "Want some? Salted, butter, and all that stuff that you regret when you're fifty but not when you're our age," he asked as he wiggled those eyebrows of his.

And with that... the lights began to dim. He tossed a glance at his watch, wrinkling his nose. If the others didn't show up soon, they'd miss the start. And he sure the heck wasn't to explain the plot.... well, if the movie even had one.

He kept the tub of popcorn aimed in Milo's direction as the previews began. Something about a girl falling in love with a mutant egg person. Think Twilight but with Humpty Dumpty.

(Make up previews or make up the movie as it goes along :D Basic idea is that it's one of those horrible, teenage slasher movies. God gets angry at kids being naughty at a summer camp.. and mutates into a killer dark god. Anything goes in this movie- it will be bad! If you wanna say you watch a scene where the killer reveals himself to be a crocodile, I don't care! Have fun :D)

Traveling while invisible was among the best things things Aiden had discovered. No traffic, no getting jostled in the train, no weird looks, certainly no overmuscled dickfaces trying to rough him up. Huge plus.

When his luck held, it held spectacularly, but when it failed, it failed spectacularly too. The odds were probably in the millions-to-one that a man in an oxidized metal suit with a gyrocopter backpack would collide mid-air with invisible Aiden, but it happened, sending both into a building and Rusty to the concrete with a thud. It was a bit of a mess, and a very good thing that whose-his-face with the tetanus-inducing outfit had thought to wear his medporter. It was smart that he'd left early for the movie, because he'd be getting there a little late.

He could've just not paid for his ticket--it wasn't the first time the thought had crossed his mind--but he did. He wanted to be prepared if the usher did come through, and he couldn't justifiably get onto Roach about stealing if he was a thief himself. The look on their faces when he materialized out of thin air in the row in front of everybody else, one hand already in Roach's popcorn bucket, was priceless.

"Hey, guys. This is community property, right?"

He snagged a fistful, floated effortlessly out of the deserted row, and settled into the seat next to Jessie as the preview for Felinoids From Pluto Attack! started to atrociously play.

Alice squeezed her eyes shut as she popped another sour-sucker into her mouth. This one was grape something. Her mouth watered and she shot Roach another scrunched up face. A few minutes into this and she was already having a blast - and the movie hadn't even started yet! She wiggled her fingers, asking for more candies. "What happens if I try two at once?!" She exclaimed eagerly. She didn't know if she could handle that - but it was part of the fun. Her tongue burned as she toyed with the candy already in her mouth before popping in a second. Lemon paired with grape. Too much! Alice lightly slapped her hand against her leg with a surprised squeal. This was way too much fun! She almost didn't want the movie to start so she could keep on trying candies and chatting.

Another explosion of flavor in her mouth distracted her from Jessie and Eli's arrival. She turned to Eli once she noticed he was next to her, offering him a squinty-eyed look. "Mer-mo!" Hello!... Or the closest she could get to it right now at least. All at once the previews began to start. When had it hit three o'clock? She had no idea, but she was excited. A day out with friends. Awesome. Sour-suckers. Awesomer! Her hologram continued tapping into her physical responses to the candies, and its eyes began to water. Alice took a deep breath, shaking her head a few times as she waited-out the candies. All of a sudden, Aiden appeared in the row in front of them, stretched out to steal Roach's popcorn. Alice sputtered in surprise and the candies flew from her mouth. Where they landed was anyone's guess, but they were wet and sticky and definitely not something you wanted in your hair.

Alice continued coughing for a few moments, finally managing to cover her mouth before taking a deep breath. "Damnit Aiden!--" She laughed. Her swearing was all good-natured of course. And then he was off again! Taking a seat next to Jessie. She took another deep breath and turned back to Eli with a grin, nudging him as she lowered her voice to a whisper. "How's Diego doing?! Did he tell you I texted him?" Her gaze flickered up to the screen to watch the trailer for Felinoids From Pluto Attack. Well that was just silly. Pluto wasn't even a proper planet. And why were they all wearing bikinis? That didn't seem very conducive to an outer space environment.

"No. I'm not hun--" The movie's started. I have to be quiet during the movie. Not the movie. Previews. Mom said I can talk during previews. Dad said quiet. No one said this is their seat. Not yet.

Alice came. Probably Alice. She likes disguises and she likes being beside Roach. Jeremy said something. I can't remember. It wasn't at me. There are a lot of people here. I don't know why he nodded. I didn't say anything. He gets confused. When he hurts someone it will be an accident. I can stop him. Jessie and Eli weren't late. Aiden was.

The popcorn is still pointed at me. There are two rules. I don't know. "Um." Whisper. "I'm not hungry."

Jessie giggled softly at Aiden's sudden appearance and subsequent popcorn theft. Invisibility certainly had its perks!

“Had to make an entrance, hmm?” Jessie whispered to Aiden once he took his seat.

Deciding it was time for a snack, Jessie began to dig through the depths of her messenger bag. Her gloves made small clinking noises as they bumped against each other. Eventually she pulled out a bag of Hersey Kisses. After popping one into her mouth, she offered the bag around. She normally would keep whispering but since there were so few people in the theater she figured a low voice would be okay until the movie actually started.

“Kisses, anyone?”

Didn't drop his popcorn and scream like a little girl at the sudden appearance of someone infront of him.

He at least kept a grip on the popcorn supplying Aiden with an easy time to steal some! Roach cursed to himself, slapped at his heart to get it beating again, and pulled the tub away from the thief! Now, he was guarding it with his life. "Sit your ass down, boy!"

He swatted at Aiden as he moved passed, grumbling to himself before returning his attention to the popcorn. He tossed a glance up at the screen, leaning comfortably back into his seat as the previews finally stopped showing the romantic comedy involving Lindsey Lohan and Rod Sneider called 'Coked Out Love'.

He had to remember to get a bootleg of that one.

He shoved another handful of popcorn in his mouth as the rest of the lights dimmed. The movie was starting! And it started out as good as any movie could! With boobs. They were covered boobs, mind you, but boobs, none-the-less. Cheerleaders practicing their routine in the moonlight near a lake!

One mentions that they should relax. It's been a long day of practice! They all giggle, complimenting each others' hair before one suggests skinny dipping.

Roach nodded his head, munching on some more popcorn. So far, this was a plotline he could totally follow. "Milo- Remember, don't go skinny dippin' if you're in a horror movie," he mumbled to the side, shoveling in more popcorn into his mouth. "Or else you'll wind up dead- like them all soon."

Cadence was very late for the movie, but in her defense she'd just heard about it earlier that afternoon! She'd quickly finished cleaning up her half of the room (more like her corner of the room...she didn't have a lot of stuff to begin with, and most of it fit into the far corner of her dorm room), grabbed some cash and made a beeline for Kings Row. Normally she wasn't a fan of horror movies, unless it was something cheesy...like the Brain That Ate Cleveland. But she was willing to give this movie a try, since a lot of her friends were going. She snagged her ticket, a drink, and nachos. The nachos, as per her preference, were covered in jalapenos.

The movie was already starting as she navigated her way down the aisle of the dark theater. She slipped into the seat next to Aiden as quietly as possible, muttering just a brief apology to him before looking up at the screen.

As the lights dimmed further and the movie began, Alice decided it might just have been time to cut it out with the sour-suckers. After all, she didn't want to be unable to concentrate on the screen. She peered into Roach's bag of candies, pulling out a few hard Life Savors. They were the basic flavors, with a few of those random tropical promotional specials. She opted for pineapple. That was bound to be interesting. She popped it into her mouth, dropping her little handful of lifesavers into the cup holder of her armrest. Not like she needed to use it anyway. She rested her arms on wither side of her, absently drumming them during the opening credits before abruptly stopping. She didn't want to be annoying, after all. She was just happy to be invited along, and she didn't want to be excluded on the next outing. Over this last month, it had suddenly begun to feel as though she actually had friends at Westbrook - and she didn't want to lose that.

Alice tilted her head, wrinkling her nose as the girls started tugging off their clothes to go skinny dipping. Well that was just stupid. Don't they know skinny dipping at ominous dark lakes is bad? These women had no sense. Of course, it could have been realistic. Cheerleaders weren't usually known for being brainiacs. Alice popped another candy into her mouth. Another tropical flavor - fruit punch.

"But TRISHA" One of the girls protested in a high-pitched whine. "I don't WANT to go Skinny Dipping! What if somebody SEES!" The other cheerleaders scoffed at the girl as they began splashing into the water. They teased her for being chicken because she was the new girl and self-conscious about her thighs. The Cheer Captain, Trisha, asserted that the reluctant one was silly - that no one was there!

Alice snickered softly, shaking her head. They were so all gonna get eaten by something.

Sort of tilted his had during that entire exchange! The dialog was captivating... Yes, that was what was captivating on the screen. Firm and bouncy dialog. Not that much was seen! But it left plenty for the imagination to interpret!

"But TRISHA!" The new girl cried out again, stomping her foot. Roach snorted, shaking his head abit as he shoved another handful of popcorn into his mouth. Clearly, this girl would be the only one of the cheerleaders to survive the night.

The other cheerleaders? They were too busy on the screen to care! They were splashing and laughing and doing all sorts of things that girls -clearly- did at cheerleading camp. The new girl just continued to scoff at them all before she moved off. Alone. Towards the cabins.

Roach blinked, stopping his eating for a second. Oh crap! She was bailing! New girl wasn't the only survivor, maybe! She was going alone back to the cabin. She was the victim. Roach quickly turned towards Alice, mouthing, "Ahhh shit!"

And thats when the new girl became the dead girl. Out from the shadows, someone using a water-polo stick attacked! It went right into the new girl's stomach like a javelin! Right through as if she was made out of butter! The new girl tried to scream but the girls in the lake were too busy! Laughing and splashing and not having a care in the world!

Roach shoved more popcorn into his mouth, nearly inhaling it as the screen went dark and filled with a dark cackle before words appeared: Mutation.... of the Dark God!!!!!

Roach was going to love this movie.

Roach took his popcorn away. He talked, but it's ok. It wasn't a question. I don't have to answer. It might have been a joke. I can't be in a horror movie. Three minutes is too late to laugh. It might have been serious.

The attacker is sloppy. Gut wounds are slow and messy. Head and heart are fast. The girl shouldn't be dead yet. It's a story. One hour, nineteen minutes left. I don't have to stay for the credits.
