Blake read the paper and smiled, then looked back at where Lucas was. "Having fun! I guess you're lucky not to have to worry about homework and stuff, huh? Do you get bored?"

Blake read the writing and nodded, then looked back at Lucas's wake. It was weird talking to a ghost. Slightly creepy. But in a way it wasn't all that different from talking to an invisible person, and that wouldn't be creepy. Okay, maybe that'd be a bit creepy too actually. But here at Westbrook? Somehow it didn't seem nearly as weird as it seemed like it should seem.

"So what do you do when you're not playing games and stuff?"

Blake had to smile, especially at the "boo!". Haunting aside though, Lucas made himself sound so normal!

"Well I'd say you're pretty good at the haunting stuff. I didn't realize you went to classes, what kinda stuff do you like studying?"

Blake wrinkled his nose a bit in good humor, smiling a bit.

"Well I'd make a horrible ghost then, I don't like history all that much. Way too many people and places and names and dates! I'm not a big fan of math or science either, I guess math's not all that hard but it just... seems like a hassle, I guess? English is okay when we get to read something interesting, until they make us write stuff about it. I guess I'm not a huge fan of being student. I like home ec and music and stuff better but those aren't really major subjects."

Blake paused for a moment, glancing at his textbook thoughtfully, then back at Lucas.

"Can you turn pages yourself? If you want, I can leave books out on my desk for you to read."

"Do you like that some of us aren't getting spooked anymore when you're around? I imagine it makes the haunting harder."
