Maybe by coincidence, maybe otherwise, but the bulb on Chris's desk lamp flickers out, any main lighting in the room stays lit. The florescent lighting in the library also flickers, though MEVIL is unaffected. Out in the courtyard, the lights dim, then come back, a few burning out in the process.

Chris heard the flickering of the light and turned around, "Please, Lucas, talk to me. I'm not your enemy. I was... kinda hoping we could be friends."

((Sam's right sneaker would constantly seemingly untie itself constantly. And Michelle's perfectly manicured fingertips would have little cracks randomly appearing in the polish.))

Chris laughed a bit, "Well, for one being friends with a ghost would be really cool. Also, you've been around this long and haven't hurt anyone, so you aren't evil. But I know you must be lonely, so I'd like to help with that if I can." He erased the question from the whiteboard to let Lucas talk again, "But you know... would probably be easier if we could talk without using this thing."

Sam tripped and looked down at her shoes. She shook her head and bent down to tie her shoe laces up. She was pacing waiting for the kids to disperse so she could sneak out to the court yard for some peace and quiet. She had missed laying out and watching the stars in peace.

She tripped again as she was thinking about the night. "...The hell?...". Her laces were undone again. She bent to tie them again and double knotted them this time.

Chris thought for a few moments, and nodded, "Okay, I guess you have a point. You probably tried that already. Next time I see her I'll ask Ms Posie if she has anything that could help with that. For now we can just use this. So Lucas, please tell me what happened, since you said what I was told was wrong."

Chris thought for a few moments, "Okay. How about another student, Mia? She might have something that can help."

Michelle glanced at her nails. "How rude!"

Light flickering -and- a ruined manicure? Enough was enough. "Screw this, I'm out of here. Go pester someone who's looking for you, ghost boy. If you think I'm going to share my frozen yogurt with you after this, you're sorely mistaken."
