On the surface Jared looks like a normal teen, but if one looks closely or stares at him for a while his skin will seem to almost crawl. In addition tendrils of energy have a tendancy to make brief apperances usually around his arms, head and chest.
BIO:
Jared was born and raised in Santa Ana, Los Angeles to an average middle class family. His father owns a small car dealership and his mother works in real estate. He has a younger sister, Dana who he gets along with much better now after the incident.
It is common knowledge that Jared went missing for 6 months, leaving on a trip with a friend and their family to go to Los Vegas. When he left, he was just an average teenager, but returned changed and distorted with an array of frightening powers and no real story of where he got them. Mostly he just avoids the question, changing the subject of where they came from.
Unknown to the student body (but known to select members of the Westbrook Staff) Jared was involved in a biological attack involving an alien virus. The virus bonded with him, completely changing him on a cellular level. While he retained all of his memories and his appereance is largely unchanged, underneath it all he is something completely different.
