The Dorms

Dorms at Westbrook Academy are in one building for both girls and boys but there are different floors for each gender.

Most of the come in the shape of quads. Quads are two rooms which share a bathroom. Each room has two beds, two dressers, two desks, a sink and a walk in closet. Each bathroom has a standing shower and a toilette. The student who shares a room with you is usually referred to as your room-mate. Those students who share a bathroom with you but are not in the same room are usually referred to as your quad-mates.

There are also private rooms which are generally reserved for special cases. Most of these cases are based around loss of control of their powers but there are other special cases where students require private rooms. Failing that they are served up on a first come first serve basis, but they are limited in number and a student who does not necessarily need one may be asked to move into a quad with other students to make room for one who does.

The first floor of the dorms is a common area where students gather to study, watch TV, play games etc. There is a check-in desk next to the stairs and elevators leading to the dorm rooms where students can sign in guests, or pick up pizzas they've had delivered. While students are allowed to have guests of the opposite gender in their room the rule is that their door must be open at all times when they do so.
