Teen designs super suit to help fight crime.

POWERS:
Sydney's only real powers are a mild mutation that allows him to understand the intricacies of machines and electronics, allowing him to design a not only functional, but rather advanced piece of technology for someone his age.  (If anyone has seen No ordinary family and "JJ's" abilities.  It works something like that only limited to his specific field) 

APPEARANCE:
Normal looking teen with dark brown hair, average build, and hazel eyes. 

BIO:
Sydney was born and raised in Long Island New York to parents Vince and Dana Walker. His father is a member of the New York City police force, specifically the Emergency Service Unit. (SWAT) While his mother is an ER nurse.  Normal in appearance, Sydney has a very mild mutation that allows him to understand the inner workings of machines, as well as design advanced systems, such as his super suit. When he was 16 he designed and finished his first Exo Suit from recycled parts found in a junkyard, with the intention of making it for his father to keep him safe in the line of duty. Of course his father wasn't permitted to use it so Sydney began experimenting with it himself. After a few "public incidents" he was noticed and brought in for questioning. (Although attempting to stop several crimes, there was property damage as well as the issue of the weapons system/suit itself) His identity was withheld from the public at the time and he was approached by a representative of D.A.T.A from Paragon. Impressed with his designs and aptitude, they offered him a scholarship to Westbrook Academy in exchange for intellectual property as well as the opportunity to work with other young up and coming heroes. 

Sydney's first suit was sent to DATA and he is currently working on designing another with their help (and their materials) instead of the recycled parts he used on the first one.

Update!

Sydney has adapted rather well to Paragon, fully embracing all that there is to the city. He continues to push his way through the math and physics curriculum at Rhode Island State University, while struggling to maintain a B, usually falling on the side of C+ on everything else he takes at West Brook. His abilities have grown somewhat, from an innate understanding of machines to more "Math in motion" as a result of taking these courses. Sydney was originally able to "Get it" the way things worked, but now with a stronger mathematical backing, he has been able to expand not only his designs, but able to apply his ability to real life situations.

Sydney is constantly applying for grants from not just DATA but anywhere he can find some in order to fund his Exo suits, which have grown in both price and number. After Finishing the EXO-1 Series, he created the EXO-2 which used a special thermal core tailor made for Taylor Brenton. They are still going through the paperwork to allow her to bring it into active service. His current suit is the EXO-3 Series, moving him from the front lines to more of a support role. There are rumors that designs for the 4 and 5 series are already on paper, and that he may be looking for a Pilot for one of them.

Sydney still struggles with keeping the suits load outs in line with what a minor with a hero licenses is able to patrol with. There have been several occasions where he may have blurred the line and been reprimanded, but that has largely been kept from the campus. While he still enjoys the rush of patrolling, his true passion seems to be more in the design phase of things.

(With the character Aging up system, Sydney will be starting his Jr. year at Westbrook after Finals)
