She also tends towards more neutral colors, but to hear her tell it that's more her mother's doing than her own.
BIO:
Lillian Parker has always looked like a typical child and teenager. Growing up, she played with dolls, sleptover with friends, and annoyed her two older siblings. As she became a teenager, she enjoys music, hanging out with her friends and being too cool to hang out with her little brother. Lillian has long looked up to her oldest brother, who developed telekinesis as a teenager and went on to be one of the many costumed heroes of their hometown, Paragon City. She also has a love of piano and books, both things she picked up as a child and never really grew out of, and she is almost never seen wtihout her beloved dog, Shadow.
But Lillian is different. A battle with menengitis as a baby left her blind. Doctors say she was very lucky that was all she lost and until recently, Lillian and her family agreed. As she grew older, Lillian began to ask her parents and their doctor if there was a way to restore her sight. After a long time of research, phone calls, favors promised, and a mountain of paperwork, Lillian was placed in an experimental study for a new procedure to repair the damaged nerves that left her blind. Three months ago, Lillian endured a long surgery and drug regimen. At first it looked like the procedure had failed. Then Lillian started seeing soft bursts of color. Then those bursts began to form outlines. Overtime the outlines got more detailed, until Lillian saw the world through a monochromatic filter.
But only when there was sound. The procedure had given Lillian back her sight, but not in the way it was expected. Thrilled with her new "powers" and eager to try them out, Lillian never even noticed her parents' reservations of this new development. Familiar with Westbook Academy as their oldest son is a recent graduate, her parents sought them out, hoping they could provide the same help to Lillian that they had given her brother.
