POWERS:
Sam is able to project both fire and ice out from herself. She has no control over the fire or ice once formed however. She can also effect the temperature around herself heating it up or cooling it down.

APPEARANCE:
Samantha has long sandy blonde hair. She is short, being just slightly over five feet tall and has a slender figure. She's usually found in something simple like jeans and a t-shirt or something similar.

BIO:
Sam grew up and spent her whole life in Wilmot, Arkansas. Wilmot being a town of less then 700 people there wasn't much to do. She lived with her parents, her older sister and her two brothers, one older, one younger. Samantha and her sister never really got along, the two couldn't be any more different then they were. Sam's older sister is tall, and very attractive. Since the age of five her sister had been competing in pageants. She won many titles as she grew up, and her mother treated her like the pageant princess she thought she was. This left Sam to be lumped in with her brothers to stay on the farm and help with the work load. Brothers being what they are would tease her to no end. She spent her childhood as a tomboy but always looked up to her sister though she'd never tell anyone this. Sam never wanted to be a pageant kid but her sister was popular in and out of school, where as Sam just blended in with the rest of the kids. This also meant that at school her older sister would tend to ignore Sam for the most part.

Christmas break 2011, Sam's school was holding a Christmas fund raiser dance for the kids. Samantha had talked to her mom about getting a special dress for the event. Her mother was more then pleased that maybe, finally her other daughter was ready to start acting more like woman now and less like a tomboy. They picked out a lovely dress for the dance. The night of the dance Samantha put on the dress and came down stairs to show it off to the family. Turning around to give everyone a good look at the dress. Before her mother or sister could comment her brothers started in with the harsh comments and teasing. Everything from 'We didn't know our other brother was into dresses' and 'That dress actually makes it look like you have boobs.' Sam had all she could take and was furious. She stormed out of the house and found solace in the barn alone where she paced back and forth seething with anger. She finally dropped to the floor of the barn and closed her eyes, her head filled with nasty thoughts about her brothers. She felt the temperature in the barn rise before she heard the flames. She looked up to see that flames had started up all around her. Jumping up she panicked. There was no way for her to get out of the barn. She was crying out and searching frantically for a way out that at first she never noticed the ice forming around the fires. The ice was melting as fast as it was forming, but the water was putting the fires out. By the time her family found her she was again in the middle of the barn on the floor crying in a now ruined dress.

There was no one in or around Wilmot that had ever dealt with anything like the powers that Sam had displayed. Her parents went on a search for people that could help. That search ended with Westbrook.
