"Did you see that guy?"
"It wasn't real. I mean, when the lights came back on there was nothing there."
"True, but... I've had goosebumps ever since."
"... yeah... me, too..."

"Just uh. Don't let them scare you. We're all freaked out, but a lot of us would still sick up for you. You're still our classmate."

Re: Lunchtime Lynching?
Simon walked up to a couple of his friend gathered at a library table, whispering intently.
"Hey, guys. What's up?"
"Hey, Simon. We were trying to get an idea of who we say at lunch yesterday. You know, the guy we saw hung?"
Simon furrowed his brow. "What guy?"
"When the lights went out? You know, they flashed, and we all saw a guy hanging from the ceiling. Only none of us agree on what he looked like."
Simon shook his head. "Are you planning a prank?"
"No. Wait, were you now there?"
"I was there. The lights went out, then they came back on."
"And you didn't see anything else? No flickering?"
"No. Really guys, what are you talking about?"
His friends stared at him, confusion and shock on their faces.
