((This thread represents Eli’s public YouTube channel. Eli’s mentioned his username (Frogeee) to various people and the channel is public, so it’s fair game for you to RP that your character has seen the videos in this thread if you think your character would have. In fact, feel free to have your character leave comments on a video if you like.

In addition to the videos explicitly posted in this thread, Eli has several dozen additional videos that were posted since his channel was created. The majority depict him on the violin, playing pieces ranging from classical to rock/pop covers. He also has several pieces with the electric violin; a few pieces that are multitrack violin and guitar; several multitrack dual violins; and a few multitracks with guitar and vocals.

Eli plays the violin exceptionally well. He's also good on the guitar and capable on the piano and ukulele.))

Description:

By far my most ambitious multitrack to date, this goes out to my boyfriend Diego.

This video has 9 tracks: 1 guitar, 1 guitar percussion, 1 violin, 2 recorders, 1 lead vocal, 2 background vocals, and 1 vocal sound effects. Comment, subscribe, and share with your friends!

Video

All video perspectives occur in Eli’s room. You can see the bunked beds in the background, as well as his roommate’s unoccupied desk.

The video starts with the screen split into four parts, all four containing an Eli. Each of the bottom Elis has a guitar. Each of the top Elis has a microphone on stand in front of him. Bottom right Eli begins to play lead guitar, while top left Eli begins to sing.

• In the town where I was born,

Bottom left Eli looks up at top right Eli. Top right Eli shrugs back and sticks out his tongue at him. Bottom right Eli rolls his eyes.

• Lived a man who sailed to sea,

Bottom left Eli begins tapping on the guitar to provide basic percussion.

• And he told us of his life,

Top right Eli folds his arms and waits impatiently.

• In the land of submarines,

Top right Eli leans close to the mic, raises both eyebrows, and starts making sound effects that very roughly sound like the waves at a beach.

• So we sailed on to the sun,
  Till we found the sea green,
  And we lived beneath the waves,
  In our yellow submarine,

The top right and bottom right Elis both fade out, though the percussion and wave effects continue. A new set of Elis fade in, both with mics in front of them. Top right Eli continues singing lead vocals, but gives the two new Elis a look that suggests “WTF?”. They each shrug back and start singing backup vocals. Top right Eli has an “oh, right” look, nods, and still continues to sing.

• We all live in yellow submarine,
  yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
  We all live in yellow submarine,
  yellow submarine, yellow submarine.

Each of the right Elis stop singing. They look at each other and nod. They then start to visibly concentrate and slowly become transparent.

• And our friends are all aboard,

The concentrating Elis fade until they’re completely gone. Abruptly, another pair of Elis appear in those frames, each with a cheeky grin.

• Many more of them live next door,

The two right Elis each look at each other, then look at the guitar Eli in the bottom left. Bottom right Eli snaps his fingers, and suddenly button left Eli is replaced by another Eli with a violin.

• And the band begins to play.

The two right Elis each lift a recorder up and start to play what would normally be played by brass instruments. The bottom left Eli plays the string part on the violin.

• Super-short instrumental!

The recorder Elis are each abruptly replaced by the backup singer Elis. The violinist is replaced by the guitarist.

• We all live in yellow submarine,
  yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
  We all live in yellow submarine,
  yellow submarine, yellow submarine.

Guitarist Eli is replaced by sound effects Eli. Lead vocals Eli stops singing and watches the other three. Sound effects Eli provides a few relevant sound effects during the spoken parts. Top right and bottom right Elis each take different parts of the spoken dialogue.

• Full speed ahead, Mr. Barkley, full speed ahead!
  Full speed over here, sir!
  All together! All together!
  Aye, aye, sir, fire!
  Captain! Captain!

Sound effects Eli reverts back to guitarist Eli. Lead vocals Eli starts singing again. Top right Eli provides the spoken echos (in parentheses), making silly facial expressions as he does. Bottom right Eli rolls his eyes at the Eli above him.

• As we live a life of ease
  Every one of us (every one of us) has all we need, (has all we need)
  Sky of blue, (sky of blue) and sea green, (sea of green)
  In our yellow (In our yellow) submarine. (submarine, haha!)

The two right Elis each go back to providing backup vocals.

• We all live in yellow submarine,
  yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
  We all live in yellow submarine,
  yellow submarine, yellow submarine.

All four Elis continue as they were, but gradually fade on how loudly they’re singing/playing.

• We all live in yellow submarine,

The song ends, as does the video!
