Chris blinked a few times. He honestly hadn't been expecting something like that. "Okay, what would you suggest? I really would like to talk to you, and maybe get to be friends."

Chris waited for a reply for a while, watching the whiteboard before assuming none was coming. "Okay, if we found a nonmagical way to talk to each other face to face, would you be okay with that?"

Chris nods, and cleans off the board again. "Well, I'll start looking around tomorrow to see what I can find. Thanks for talking to me and letting me know you do actually exist. And, good night."

Wednesday night, Chris was in the commons. On his head was a device that looked like a techie pair of goggles. In his right hand was a listening device that was scanning frequencies to pick up sounds outside the human range of hearing. As the goggles flipped through various spectrums such as UV and IR like they were pulled from the predator movie itself, Chris kept on the lookout for ghosts. "Lucas, you there?"

Chris caught the image, and immediately checked other light spectrums to make sure it wasn't just some invisible kid, "That you Lucas? I... think I can see you. Try saying something..." Chris started adjusting the audio device to try and pick up any noises Lucas made. He was genuinely excited to finally be talking face to face with Lucas.
