I am alone.
There was no one.
Mocked and insulted.
On the outside looking in.

I am nothing.
This I am told.
Take away the pain.
Why is the world cold?

WAIT!

I...am special?
This I am told.
Gone is the pain.
The world is not so cold.

I am something!
No longer alone!
Loved and Praised!
On the inside looking out!
