Cass extricated herself from the opening again and held up the camcorder.

"Got it." She frowned at the rock walls, all her carefully memorized turns useless now. "Any idea how to get out?"

"The shields are more important. Focus on that." Cass glanced at Sam. "I'll go. Better chance if there's something on the other side."

Without waiting for argument or confirmation, Cass climbed through.

Cass stole a look at the entrance. "That might be best. I'm okay at stealth, I guess. Or better than a bonfire, at least. But I wouldn't bet on me in a Troll warren alone."

More likely it's proof they'd hide to cover for the club. Abramsen already proved that she'll alter evidence. Don't assume they're following procedure.
